I’m sorry to see last year’s theme - getting ahead early only to drop points late - repeating itself in the opener.

And I don’t like Dempsey on the bench. Fulham needs more punch in the starting XI.

If your ‘our’ is referring to Hull City - My assumptions are based on the fact that you have shipped a good few goals in preseason, including 4 at Crewe and that the new players you have brought don’t cut the mustard in my opinion.

The signing of Gardner is not a great prospect as he hasn’t played for almost a year and couldn’t get a kick on loan at Everton where he didn’t play a single game.

As for Mendy - he might look good going forward, but is woeful at the back. He makes some bad decisions , he was third choice at PSG - a team whose defence has played a major part in their demise over the past couple of years. Didn’t he give away silly penalty preseason in one of his first games for the club?

There is no way Fulham would sell Bullard now. He is such an important player for Roy Hodgson this season. The only way he would go, is if the player himself asked to leave. Considering Fulham stuck by him during his injuries, that would be a bit rich. Luckily, I think Bullard is more loyal than that and I am hopeful he will have an excellent, injury free season.

Hmmm…this is a lot of money for one player. Although, should he get 15-20 goals it will be money well spent. He is a goalscorer and will need to be first choice at Fulham, otherwise he could lose a little bit of confidence like he did at Everton.

Let Davis go I think. Not a big loss. Yes it would be nice to get the money back Fulham paid for him, but I am guessing he wants to leave and I don’t think he should be stopped. As you say, he would probably excel in Scotland. Much like Barry Robson has done at Celtic.
